ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By accessing this website you agree to all terms and conditions as stated below. LAUN LLC reserves the right to change and/or amend these terms and conditions, at their discretion and without notice. Please read through these terms carefully.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom colorways and orders are possible. Please contact us at hello@launlosangeles.com to inquire about custom orders.

SAMPLES

We are able to provide samples of standard finishes and fabrics. Terrazzo samples require a shipping payment.

CLIENTS’ OWN MATERIAL (COM) TERMS

COM must be approved by Laun prior to ordering. Client must specify orientation of patterned fabric. Laun cannot be held responsible for the wear and care of clients’ chosen COM fabric. Client is responsible for ordering and shipping COM fabric to manufacturer.

LEAD TIMES

Lead times are estimations and delays are possible. Laun cannot accept liability for inaccurate estimations.

MEMO

Client is responsible for collecting and returning item in perfect condition. All memoed items are to be returned 48 hours after pickup or delivery, unless specified otherwise by LAUN. Damaged or lost item(s) will result in full value being charged to the credit card on file. If damaged or lost item(s) is part of a set, full price will be charged.

PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

Prices are listed in dollars (USD) and subject to change without notice. All products are subject to availability. All proudcts are produced in and ship from Los Angeles, CA 90014.

Full payment is due prior to shipping. We accept the following payment types:

-ACH and Wire Transfer please contact hello@launlosangeles.com for bank details

LIMITED WARRANTY / LIABILITY

Warranty for all LAUN items is applicable for one (1) year against mechanical defects or technical failures. If you find an issue with your product please contact us at hello@launlosangeles.com and we

will work to find a solution. Even as our products are designed to function outdoors, we cannot be held responsible for changes and patina to the surface of unsealed metals, damage caused by improper care or cleaning solutions, damage caused by exposure to weather or improper environmental conditions, damage caused by improper installation, damage caused by typical wear and tear including but not limited to scratches, dents, and stains. If you find a defect or damage to your LAUN product please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your item at hello@launlosangeles.com. Please keep all packaging and shipping items if it appears that damage occurred in transit.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Laun requires payment in full, prior to shipping or delivering the client’s order to the client’s provided address. The client is responsible for inspecting all items upon arrival. If damage occurs, Laun must be notified within 48 hours of delivery. Please send all damage claims to hello@launlosangeles.com with your order number, photos of the original packaging as well as the damage to the item. For any inside delivery, the client is responsible for ensuring that all items have easy access to their final destination.

Warranty claims are excluded from freight claims. LAUN LLC is not responsible for late trucks due to carrier negligence or damage to products which occurs in transit, in storage, or after delivery, based on FOB distribution terms noted herein.

RETURN POLICY

If you receive a damaged shipment from LAUN LLC, you may exchange it for an equal piece at no additional charge. All shipping damages must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will make every effort to replace the damaged piece with an equal piece within the standard lead time. It is required, however, that LAUN LLC receives digital images of the damage before replacement shipments will be processed.

Our products are custom and made-to-order. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns or offer exchanges due to any circumstance other than damage.

STORAGE

If the client is unable to take receipt of their pruchased item(s) within 30 days of first being notified of delivery, then the client will be subject to a daily storage fee.

Unless otherwise noted, all Contents are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property owned, controlled or licensed by LAUN LLC is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all Contents on this Site is the exclusive property of LAUN LLC and is also protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

LAUN LLC expressly reserve all intellectual property rights in all text, programs, products, processes, technology, content and other materials which appear on this Site. Access to this Site does not confer and shall not be considered as conferring upon anyone any license under any of LAUN LLC or any third party’s intellectual property rights.

The LAUN names and logos and all related product and service names, design marks and slogans are the trademarks or service marks of LAUN LLC. All other marks are the property of their respective companies. No trademark or service mark license is granted in connection with the materials contained on this Site. Access to this Site does not authorize anyone to use any name, logo or mark in any manner.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

LAUN LLC incorporates natural materials into its products. The natural beauty of unfinished metals results in random variation in color and pattern. This variation, which is kept within acceptable limits, is an integral part of the appearance of the furniture and is to be expected. In addition, the finishes are subject to color change depending on age and exposure to light.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend cleaning your outdoor products at least every 6 months to maintain surface finish:

Powdercoat Finish

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water.

Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Do not clean with anything that will destroy plastics (i.e. paint thinner, certain solvents, etc...)

Raw Stainless Steel

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water.

For more stubborn stains add a small amount of baking soda to warm water.

Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Outdoor Fabric

Please see the Perennials website for cleaning recommendations.

Terrazzo

Use soap, water and a soft rag. Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaners or anything with

bleach or ammonia.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

LAUN LLC shall have no liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver goods you have ordered or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or any other natural disaster or accident.
